Canada, Saskatoon sees reduction in crime in 2013

Saskatoon police chief Clive Weighill says a unified front between the Saskatoon Police Service and other community partners has played an important role in a reduction of crime in the city. On Wednesday, Statistics Canada released its police-reported Crime Severity Index (CSI) for 2013. It found that the volume and severity of crime across the country has declined nine per cent when compared to 2012.
